The global conferences in the field of technology, entertainment and design have been going with the spirit of ideas worth spreading since 1984. TED is a global community and it welcomes people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world. TED believes passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately to change the world. TED is owned by a nonprofit and nonpartisan foundation. The agenda is to make great ideas accessible and spark conversation.
ABOUT TEDx
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that brings people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxSITB, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxSITB event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

TEDxSJU Bangalore is the result of the coming together of innovation and creativity with a sensitized understanding of the need to spread unique Ideas. We at TEDxSJU Bangalore combine our passion with our hardwork to create this one of a kind event with speakers from versatile backgrounds speaking about ideas that are poles apart yet hold similarities in the nuances.

The theme for TEDxSJU Bangalore, Looking through the Prism, echoes the thoughts of our community, to look at the things which appear ordinary, from a new perspective. To go in with one idea like a beam of light, and let your thoughts diverge into a plethora of colors. We are believers that the sharp mind needs food for thought, and we have plenty to serve. We trust that you come and attend the event in quest of diverse perspectives.
